Senior Systems Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (Angular) will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and implement RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and perform unit and integration testing

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating with Angular front-end applications
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and familiarity with API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
