Senior Systems Engineer (AWS)

Job Summary

To support the modernization of healthcare transaction processing, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (AWS Cloud Application) will design, build, and maintain cloud-native application services and APIs within an AWS-hosted environment while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and integrate cloud-native application services and RESTful APIs for healthcare data processing
• Leverage AWS-managed services to implement event-driven architectures and asynchronous workflows
• Write clean, testable code and participate in peer code reviews while applying modern software engineering best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of software development experience with significant back-end engineering experience
• Experience with backend development languages such as .Net/C#, Go, Python, Java, or NodeJS
• Demonstrated understanding of AWS-native application patterns and cloud integrations
• Proven experience building back-end services that process and deliver structured healthcare or EDI data
