Senior Systems Engineer (AWS)

Job Summary

To support healthcare modernization efforts, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (AWS Cloud Application) will build cloud-native application services and APIs, integrate data platforms, and leverage AWS-managed services in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native applications and RESTful APIs within an AWS-hosted environment
• Develop and maintain back-end services that process healthcare data and integrate with internal platform APIs
• Apply modern software engineering best practices and participate in Agile development processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of software development experience with significant back-end engineering experience
• Proficiency in backend development languages such as .Net/C#, Go, Python, Java, or NodeJS
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or distributed-system environments
• Demonstrated understanding of AWS-native application patterns and cloud integrations
