Senior Systems Engineer (AWS)

Job Summary

To modernize healthcare transaction processing, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (AWS) will build cloud-native application services and APIs within an AWS-hosted environment, leveraging AWS-managed services to ensure reliable and secure data delivery while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support and modernize healthcare transaction processing and back-end data platforms
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services for healthcare data
• Develop application integrations using AWS services and implement event-driven workflows

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of software development experience with significant back-end engineering experience
• Experience with backend development languages such as .Net/C#, Go, Python, Java, or NodeJS
• Demonstrated understanding of AWS-native application patterns and cloud integrations
• Proven experience building back-end services that process and deliver structured healthcare or EDI data
