Senior Systems Engineer (AWS)

Job Summary

To support the modernization of healthcare transaction processing, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (AWS) will build cloud-native application services, design RESTful APIs, and leverage AWS-managed services in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and modernize healthcare transaction processing and back-end data platforms
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and cloud-native application services within an AWS-hosted ecosystem
• Develop application integrations leveraging various AWS services to ensure reliable and secure data processing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of software development experience with significant back-end engineering experience
• Experience with backend development languages such as .Net/C#, Go, Python, Java, or NodeJS
• Demonstrated understanding of AWS-native application patterns and cloud integrations
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or distributed-system environments
