Senior Systems Engineer (AWS)

Job Summary

To modernize healthcare transaction processing, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (AWS Cloud Application) will build cloud-native application services and APIs within an AWS-hosted environment, ensuring reliable and secure data delivery while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services for healthcare data processing
• Leverage AWS-managed services to implement event-driven architectures and asynchronous workflows
• Write clean, testable code and participate in peer code reviews while applying modern software engineering best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on back-end engineering
• Strong experience with backend development languages such as .Net/C#, Go, Python, Java, or NodeJS
• Demonstrated understanding of AWS-native application patterns and cloud integrations
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or distributed-system environments
