Senior Systems Engineer (AWS)

Job Summary

To support the modernization of healthcare transaction processing, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (AWS Cloud Application) will build cloud-native application services and APIs, leveraging AWS-managed services in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services for healthcare data processing
• Develop cloud-native applications and integrations within an AWS-hosted ecosystem
• Implement event-driven workflows and participate in code reviews while promoting modern software engineering practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of software development experience, with significant back-end engineering experience
• Proficiency in backend development languages such as .Net/C#, Go, Python, Java, or NodeJS
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or distributed-system environments
• Understanding of AWS application integration patterns and experience with AWS services like SQS, Lambda, and DynamoDB
