Senior Systems Engineer (AWS)

Job Summary

To support healthcare modernization efforts, the full-time Senior Systems Engineer (AWS Cloud Application) will build and maintain cloud-native application services and APIs within an AWS-hosted environment, leveraging AWS-managed services to ensure reliable data processing and delivery, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support and modernize healthcare transaction processing and back-end data platforms
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven workflows using AWS services
• Develop application integrations and perform unit and integration testing across back-end services

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of software development experience with significant back-end engineering experience
• Experience developing cloud-native applications within AWS environments
• Strong back-end development experience using languages such as .Net/C#, Go, Python, Java, or NodeJS
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or distributed-system environments
