Senior Systems Engineer with Clearance

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Systems Engineer with Clearance, the successful candidate will monitor and analyze spacecraft trajectories, perform collision avoidance analysis, and support mission planning through trajectory design and optimization.

Key responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor the position and velocity of artificial objects in Earth orbit or deep space
• Design optimal trajectories for spacecraft launches, orbital transfers, and reentries while tracking space debris
• Collaborate with flight operations teams to support spacecraft maneuver planning and ensure mission success

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (master's degree + 8 years experience accepted)
• Typically 10+ years of related experience or a master's degree with 8 years of experience
• Demonstrated expertise in Systems Engineering principles and practices
• Progressive experience in systems architecture, integration, verification, and validation activities
• Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
