Senior Systems Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of systems engineers, the full-time Senior Systems Engineering Manager will drive platform initiatives, oversee identity and access management, and enhance the corporate engineering function in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of systems engineers, setting clear expectations and maintaining high standards
• Own and automate joiner, mover, and leaver processes in Okta Workflows to ensure accurate access management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build self-service capabilities while ensuring security and compliance

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in IT or systems engineering, with at least 3 years in a management role
• Experience with identity, endpoint, ITSM, and procurement systems
• Hands-on experience with AI in enterprise tooling, including Okta and automation platforms
• Proven ability to manage complexity and drive improvements in inherited systems
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship
