Senior Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Programmer for a remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve test and production issues that arise
• Work on customer requests such as creating new queues, queue managers, and changing queue depth
• Participate in projects ranging from installing the latest release of MQ to configuring MQ on servers

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship
• 6 years of IT work experience, including varied systems programming experience
• Proficiency in JCL
• Mainframe/host experience with IBM z/OS MQ mainframe
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining a queue manager and queues
