Senior Systems Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Software Engineer, Base OS - Kernel.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the enablement of the NVIDIA Vera Superchip for enterprise customers, optimizing the Base OS for AI and HPC platforms
• Act as a primary technical contact for Tier-1 customers, enabling and optimizing their Linux distributions on NVIDIA hardware
• Lead the bring-up of new platforms and design automated test suites to ensure kernel stability and performance

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience with 8+ years in Linux kernel development or low-level systems
• Expert-level C programming skills with a deep understanding of concurrency and synchronization in large-scale NUMA systems
• Strong knowledge of core OS concepts including memory management, interrupt handling, and process scheduling
• Collaborative attitude with a focus on team success and active participation in design reviews
• Ability to manage technical debt while balancing immediate delivery and long-term architectural vision
