Senior Systems Test Engineer

Job Summary

To support the validation of autonomous driving software, the full-time Senior Systems Test Engineer will design, build, and execute HiL-based validation strategies while working remotely or in the Ann Arbor, MI office.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain HiL test benches for validating autonomous driving software
• Define and execute test strategies and validation plans based on system requirements and safety goals
• Integrate hardware and software components into HiL environments, managing data flows and synchronization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in a relevant field
• Strong experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing and test bench maintenance
• Solid understanding of autonomous driving systems and sensor technologies
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ with experience in test automation
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 and familiarity with CAN protocols and tools
