Job Summary

Supporting Cash App Pay and Afterpay merchants across North America, the full-time Senior Technical Account Manager will manage post-sales technical partnerships, drive merchant growth, and leverage technical expertise to solve integration issues while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Identify post-sales growth opportunities within the merchant portfolio and collaborate with Account Management to enhance GPV and feature adoption
  • Educate merchants and internal teams on Cash App Pay and Afterpay features, delivering quarterly technical reviews that connect integration health to commercial performance
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to provide technical solutions and represent the merchant voice in product development discussions
Required qualifications
  • Senior-level experience in account management, customer success, or a client-facing technical role within payments, fintech, or e-commerce
  • Prior hands-on technical experience in Solutions Engineering, Partner Engineering, or software development
  • Solid understanding of payments infrastructure, APIs, integrations, and e-commerce platforms
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in assessing and debugging integration issues
  • Experience with monitoring tools for proactive issue detection and portfolio health oversight
