Job Summary
As a strategic partner for key business customers, the full-time Senior Technical Account Manager will provide technical consultation, proactive engagement, and advocacy to ensure clients maximize their use of DigitalOcean's cloud platform while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain expertise in DigitalOcean's product portfolio and assist customers with infrastructure architecture design and technical consultations
- Manage key accounts by driving customer engagement, retention, and growth, conducting quarterly business reviews to align on strategies
- Act as the voice of the customer, collaborating with internal teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance customer experiences
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in cloud infrastructure with deep knowledge of Linux, distributed systems, and automation tools
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) and experience in programming with at least one mainstream language
- Strong analytical skills to monitor customer trends and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Experience in (Technical) Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Account Management roles within fast-paced environments
- Ability to create and deliver technical presentations and training sessions tailored to customer needs
