Senior Technical Accountant
Job Summary
To support a complex healthcare services organization, the full-time Senior Technical Accountant will research and apply U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance, prepare audit-ready documentation, and analyze complex transactions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Research and interpret accounting standards, preparing clear technical accounting memoranda
- Analyze complex transactions including business combinations, revenue recognition, and consolidations
- Collaborate with various departments to assess accounting implications and ensure accurate financial reporting
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, particularly in technical accounting or financial reporting
- CPA certification preferred, with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Workday or Oracle, and strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with IFRS is a plus
