Senior Technical Accountant, CPA

Job Summary

Owning complex accounting areas such as stock-based compensation and capitalized commissions, the full-time Senior Technical Accountant, CPA will ensure compliance with US GAAP, prepare financial statements, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical accounting areas, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and preparing month-end close activities
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets, while driving process improvements
• Research and document accounting positions for complex transactions and partner with auditors for compliance and accuracy

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting experience, preferably with a Big Four firm
• Active CPA license and fluency in US GAAP
• Experience preparing financial statements for both private and public companies
• Proficiency with NetSuite and Workiva
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
