Senior Technical Accountant, CPA

Job Summary

Owning complex accounting functions, the full-time Senior Technical Accountant, CPA will focus on technical revenue accounting, equity accounting, and consolidated financial reporting while working remotely and collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting analysis for complex revenue arrangements and document accounting positions for non-routine transactions
• Prepare and review quarterly stock-based compensation accounting and group financial statements, ensuring consistency in technical conclusions
• Serve as the primary technical accounting partner for external auditors and translate complex guidance into practical recommendations for leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Active CPA certification
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with substantial hands-on technical accounting work
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition and experience with stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718
• Experience preparing or reviewing consolidated financial statements and working with multinational companies
