Senior Technical Business Analyst
Job Summary
Seeking a highly analytical Senior Technical Business Analyst to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for driving requirements engineering across enterprise applications by analyzing systems, documenting business requirements, and translating complex needs into structured technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and success criteria through workshops and discovery sessions
- Perform deep-dive analysis of existing applications to identify gaps and maintain comprehensive documentation of functionality and processes
- Create detailed Functional Requirements Documents and ensure requirements are complete, testable, and ready for development
Required Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role in software engineering environments
- Strong understanding of APIs, REST services, and JSON payloads
- Experience creating functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
