Senior Technical Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Experienced claims professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Senior Technical Claims Specialist focused on managing complex, high-exposure construction-related casualty claims, including coverage analysis and litigation strategy from assignment through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex, litigated construction-related losses ($500K+) through coverage analysis, liability assessment, and resolution
• Direct litigation strategy, including managing discovery, evaluating trial risks, and preparing for mediations
• Coordinate and lead a working team for each matter, including outside counsel and technical experts

Required Qualifications

• Substantial experience handling complex, litigated Commercial General Liability and/or Construction Liability claims at high exposure levels (preferably $500,000+)
• Deep knowledge of CGL and Construction Liability coverages and related policy issues
• Proven litigation management experience, including selecting and managing defense counsel
• Strong technical judgment with the ability to articulate coverage and liability positions
• Bachelor's degree (preferred) and relevant claims/insurance industry certifications or licenses
