Job Summary
Providing executive-level technical leadership for major tunnel projects, the part-time Senior Technical Director, PE will oversee multidisciplinary design management, advise clients and project teams, and support strategic growth initiatives while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical director and consultant for complex tunnel and underground infrastructure projects
- Lead multidisciplinary design management, ensuring technical integration, quality, and risk management
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with public-sector clients and identify emerging opportunities for growth
Required qualifications
- Advanced degree in civil engineering or a related technical discipline with 25+ years of relevant experience
- 15+ years of management or technical leadership experience in tunnel and underground infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams and manage multiple assignments under demanding schedules
- Strong understanding of business development and proposal processes related to technical projects
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to advise senior leadership and clients
