Senior Technical Implementation Manager

Job Summary

Managing the end-to-end process of launching innovative VPP programs, the full-time Senior Technical Implementation Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, design operational frameworks, and streamline implementation processes in a fully remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the intake and scoping process for new VPP programs, ensuring clear communication of risks and success metrics
• Drive implementation readiness across teams, managing the critical path and facilitating formal launch reviews
• Define handoff criteria and maintain documentation for program processes, ensuring smooth transitions to steady-state operations

Required qualifications

• 4-8+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in energy, utilities, or B2B2C environments
• Strong program management skills with a proven ability to create structure in ambiguous environments
• Familiarity with virtual power plants, demand response, and distributed energy resources
• Exceptional documentation skills, including maintaining SOPs and operational frameworks
• Technical fluency and experience with project management tools such as Notion or Jira
