Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

Focused on developing detailed technical proposals and project plans, the full-time Senior Technical Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, schedule, and costs while working remotely with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Review client Request for Proposals (RFPs) and collaborate with subject matter experts to clarify project scope and deliverables
• Develop and edit proposals, ensuring accuracy in content, pricing, and timelines while adhering to internal best practices
• Participate in client meetings to represent KBI's technical capabilities and tailor project proposals to client needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years, or a Ph.D. with 1+ year of experience
• Proven scientific writing skills and experience in developing scientific documentation
• Previous experience with proposal or RFP writing is preferred
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a focus on quality and customer service
