Senior Technical Product Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a deeply technical Senior Technical Product Manager to join the team remotely in the USA, who will own product areas across the Matia platform, focusing on Ingestion, Reverse ETL, Observability, and Catalog while collaborating closely with customers and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of product areas, translating complex technical challenges into clear priorities and specifications
• Immerse in data infrastructure to enhance product decisions, focusing on database replication and performance
• Act as the voice of US customers, gathering feedback to inform product direction and ensuring alignment with user needs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with at least 2 years focused on data-intensive or infrastructure products
• Genuine working knowledge of relational database internals, particularly Postgres and MySQL
• Strong SQL skills and ability to engage deeply with engineers on technical tradeoffs
• Proven track record of shipping technical products from discovery to delivery with measurable outcomes
• Experience collaborating effectively with distributed engineering teams in a remote environment
