Senior Technical Product Manager

Job Summary

Owning the recommendation engine for advertising products, the full-time Senior Technical Product Manager will manage ranking quality, set optimization objectives, and collaborate on machine learning frameworks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own the recommendation engine as a product, focusing on ranking, relevance, and model roadmap
• Define objectives for the ranker, including constraints and metrics for performance evaluation
• Collaborate with data science teams to assess model performance and communicate findings to business stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 6+ years in product management, with 3+ years in recommendation, ranking, or personalization systems
• Deep understanding of experiment design and statistical analysis methods
• Hands-on experience with ML and data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, and Spark
• Proven ability to implement model changes into production through controlled experiments
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
