Senior Technical Product Specialist
Job Summary
Acting as a product specialist for Tempo CSE interfaces, the full-time Senior Technical Product Specialist will manage requirements and product artifacts, engage with customers and SMEs, and contribute to portfolio initiatives in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and document requirements for interface capabilities while collaborating with engineering through delivery and release
- Run workshops and validation conversations with engineers and operations personnel to gather insights and support product evaluations
- Prioritize the product backlog using customer input and telemetry, transforming insights into actionable recommendations
Required qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in process industry operations, control systems, or technical product roles
- Practical understanding of process plant operations, including alarm handling and process safety principles
- Knowledge of industrial control systems and data integration, including DCS architecture and web APIs
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical conversations into clear requirements for engineering teams
- A degree in engineering or a related technical discipline is beneficial; equivalent professional experience will be considered
