Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for the Payments team, this full-time remote position will manage complex projects related to moving money in Airbnb's global marketplace, collaborating with various technical teams to ensure effective program execution and stakeholder communication.
Key responsibilities
- Develop program scope and objectives, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and drive projects end-to-end
- Align on staffing, priorities, and technical dependencies across cross-functional teams while managing ongoing risk escalation and mitigation
- Manage communications to leadership and teams regarding key decisions, status, and risks to ensure accountability and timeline management
Required qualifications
- BA/BS degree with 7+ years of experience in the software development industry
- Proven ability to work through ambiguity and drive initiatives to completion
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles in a distributed architecture environment
- Experience in a highly cross-functional environment requiring effective communication with multiple groups
- Familiarity with Jira or equivalent task management tools
