Job Summary

Leading complex web development and technical infrastructure projects for state and local government clients, the part-time Senior Technical Project Manager will provide end-to-end project management, ensuring stable deployments and optimal system performance in a remote setting with occasional meetings in Austin, Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical project delivery from proposal and architecture planning to deployment and project closure
• Oversee CMS implementations and infrastructure management, including DNS and hosting configurations
• Develop technical plans, monitor development sprints, and manage QA testing cycles while ensuring clear communication with clients and teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of technical project management experience in web development and infrastructure projects within an Agile environment
• Extensive experience with CMS projects, particularly Drupal, along with knowledge of other platforms like WordPress
• Strong understanding of web infrastructure, security protocols, and deployment pipelines
• Experience managing government agency websites or secure web applications
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards and tools such as Google Analytics and modern project management software
