Senior Technical Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Technical Solutions Engineer will design and develop complex solutions for IBM Power, collaborating with sales and partners to meet customer requirements while mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed solution designs that include necessary components, hardware, software, and services
• Collaborate with sales and partners to analyze customer requirements and present solutions effectively
• Lead and mentor junior Technical Solutions Engineers and cultivate relationships with customers and vendors

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of technical experience with a strong understanding of customer needs and solution design
• Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers in a technical environment
• Four-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience in a related field
• Proven ability to build complex solutions and advocate for technical services
• IBM Power experience and relevant industry certifications preferred
