Senior Technical Standards Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in Europe, the full-time Senior Technical Standards Engineer will collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance industry technical standards, focusing on RISC-V, while managing standardization efforts and patent filings.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and promote semiconductor standards in collaboration with external partners
• Analyze semiconductor industry landscapes and identify emerging standards for Qualcomm's strategic focus
• Work with legal teams to file patents protecting novel IP related to inventions

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in ASIC design, verification, or related fields
• Strong networking and influencing skills
• Knowledge of RISC-V ISA, processor architecture, and compliance certification
• Experience with semiconductor standards organizations and forums
