Senior Technical Support Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely as a full-time Senior Technical Support Engineer, the successful candidate will deploy Ansys simulation tools to assist customers with thermal management, propulsion, and climate control challenges while ensuring high satisfaction and successful software adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy the full Ansys simulation toolset to solve customer thermal management and propulsion problems
• Collaborate directly with customers to troubleshoot workflows and guide best practices for software adoption
• Evaluate AI-based support platform responses and contribute to product improvement through customer feedback

Required qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience, or MS with 2+ years, or PhD
• Deep understanding of system-level thermal analysis and hands-on expertise in thermal management or propulsion systems
• 2+ years of experience with thermal modeling software such as Thermal Desktop, RadCAD, or similar
• Excellent ability to interact effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
