Job Summary
Providing technical support to customers in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior Technical Support Engineer will troubleshoot complex simulation issues, review customer inputs, and guide clients on best practices in structural simulation and finite element analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Workbench Mechanical and LS-DYNA, addressing model setup errors and solver failures
- Review customer inputs to identify root causes and recommend solutions for structural analysis and multi-physics scenarios
- Collaborate with customers through email and virtual meetings to enhance their simulation outcomes and best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Strong fundamentals in structural mechanics, finite element analysis, and nonlinear simulation
- Experience with simulation tools such as LS-DYNA, Ansys, or Abaqus
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex simulation problems effectively
- Experience in explicit dynamics or crash simulation is a plus
