Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to provide well-organized technical documentation for a high-profile application used across the entire Federal government and by millions of users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve technical documentation for existing aspects of the GG systems and software
- Attend meetings to identify opportunities for documentation improvements and gather technical details from support personnel
- Drive conversations to elicit the technical details required for documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to schedule meetings and initiate conversations with technical staff regarding a complex system
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience initiating new subjects and standards for documentation in Confluence and tying Confluence and JIRA together
- Facilitating efficient search aspects for finding documentation quickly and easily
