Senior Technical Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Technical Writer for developer audiences to work alongside their in-house team and other internal stakeholders in a full-time capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce industry-leading API and programming content while keeping pace with product development teams
• Collaborate closely with product engineering, product management, and integration teams to write API documentation and programming guides

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, technical communications, computer science, or a similar field
• 3+ years of experience as a technical writer for a developer audience at an Agile software company
• Proven experience writing detailed, user-centered API and programming documentation in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Markdown or another markup language, and one or more programming languages (Java, Go, Python, Typescript)
• Ability to work in US time zones, ideally Central Standard Time
