Senior Technical Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to create and manage technical documentation for various products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead documentation projects and create public user documentation for security, observability, and automation products
• Gather technical details through product testing and internal materials to develop comprehensive documentation
• Provide editorial feedback and mentor team members to maintain documentation quality and standards

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in technical writing for developers, SREs, and security engineers
• Proficiency in Markdown, static-site generators, and GitHub
• Familiarity with basic Python and at least one other programming language
• Experience managing large documentation sets and effective information architecture
• Experience using AI tools in documentation work
