Senior Technical Writer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Technical Writer for developer audiences, this remote position will manage the creation of user-centric API and programming documentation in collaboration with product engineering and management teams, ensuring clarity and engagement through storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Produce industry-leading API and programming content that flows logically and tells a cohesive story
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to create user-centric documentation and guides
• Keep pace with product development teams while adhering to style guidance and quality standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, technical communications, computer science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a technical writer for a developer audience at an Agile software company
• Proven experience writing detailed, user-centric API and programming documentation
• Proficiency in Markdown or another markup language, and knowledge of one or more programming languages (Java, Go, Python, Typescript)
• Strong writing portfolio demonstrating relevant skills and experience
