Senior Technical Writer

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with product teams, the full-time Senior Technical Writer will produce engaging user guides and documentation for a general business audience, ensuring clarity and relatability in technical content while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Produce user-centric technical documentation, including user guides and how-tos, that tell a cohesive story and align with product development
• Work with product engineering, management, and integration teams to create accessible documentation for diverse audiences
• Maintain high-quality standards while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, technical communications, computer science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a technical writer for business or developer audiences in an Agile software company
• Proven ability to write detailed, user-focused documentation in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Markdown or another markup language, and knowledge of one or more programming languages (Java, Go, Python, TypeScript)
• Strong writing portfolio demonstrating relevant skills and a business-friendly, user-focused perspective
