Senior Technical Writer

Job Summary

Collaborating with product engineering and management teams, the full-time Senior Technical Writer will produce engaging user guides and how-tos for a general business audience, enhancing user experience through clear storytelling in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Produce industry-leading user guides and programming content that flows logically and tells a cohesive story
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to create user-centric technical documentation
• Keep pace with product development teams to ensure documentation aligns with product updates

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, technical communications, computer science, or a similar field
• 3+ years of experience as a technical writer for business or developer audiences at an Agile software company
• Proven experience writing detailed, accessible, and user-focused documentation in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Markdown or another markup language, like HTML, and Swagger
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages (Java, Go, Python, TypeScript) and OpenAPI
