Senior Technical Writer

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Senior Technical Writer will write, edit, and maintain user-facing documentation for EDA and IP products, ensuring clarity and accuracy in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain various user documentation, including installation guides and tutorials
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand product features and workflows
• Revise existing documentation based on product changes and customer feedback

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree
• Experience with XML-based documentation tools and structured documentation methodologies
• Ability to quickly learn complex software products through hands-on testing and collaboration
• Familiarity with tools such as MadCap Flare, oXygen XML Editor, and Camtasia
• Experience managing multiple documentation projects with varying deadlines and technical depth
