Senior Technical Writer
Job Summary
To develop comprehensive technical documentation for enterprise insurance platforms, the 100% remote Senior Technical Writer will collaborate with architects, developers, and business analysts, focusing on Guidewire systems and related integrations.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain technical documentation for Guidewire and enterprise insurance applications
- Document system architecture, APIs, integrations, data mappings, and end-to-end business processes
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer supporting enterprise software implementations
- Hands-on experience documenting Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) and/or EIS platforms
- Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, and enterprise application architecture
- Experience creating technical documentation, implementation guides, and knowledge base articles
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, Visio, or Lucidchart
