Senior Technical Writer
Job Summary
Working remotely or in a hybrid model, the full-time Senior Technical Writer will collaborate with subject matter experts and product teams to create and maintain documentation for Ping Identity's products, ensuring clarity for various audiences in a Docs-as-Code environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to define and create core documentation for cloud-based and on-premise software
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content with real-life examples
- Advocate for documentation needs throughout the software development lifecycle and provide constructive edits for content
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in software development and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in using markdown languages, version control tools, and project management platforms like Jira and Confluence
- Understanding of documentation site construction and publishing processes
- Ability to craft engaging content for both human readers and AI tools
