Senior Technical Writer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Technical Writer will produce and maintain requirements and solution design documentation, translating complex technical decisions into clear documentation while collaborating with technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to understand and document complex technical solutions
• Draft and assemble solution design documentation, including narrative content and technical diagrams
• Maintain version control of documentation and ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience with an Associate's Degree or High School Diploma
• Submission of a writing sample and a diagram-based work sample is required
• Demonstrated ability to read and reproduce technical diagrams using standard diagramming tools
• Strong technical acumen to accurately document software, infrastructure, or systems concepts
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple documentation deliverables concurrently
