Senior Technical Writer-Trainer
Job Summary
Supporting a mission-focused enterprise modernization effort, the remote Senior Technical Writer/Trainer will develop and deliver role-based documentation and training for various platforms, including Salesforce Service Cloud and SharePoint Online, while managing content through Agile releases.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the documentation and training workstream, including standards, content inventory, and delivery schedules
- Develop and maintain role-based guides, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation
- Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions tailored to various audiences and evaluate training effectiveness
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing, instructional design, or related disciplines supporting enterprise technology implementations
- Demonstrated experience creating clear documentation for complex software and business processes
- Experience designing role-based training using adult-learning principles and delivering training to diverse audiences
- Exceptional writing, editing, and organization skills with the ability to simplify complex material
- Working knowledge of Section 508 accessibility and experience managing documentation through iterative review processes
