Senior Telephony Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Telephony Engineer for a remote contract position, the candidate will design, build, and support scalable customer communication platforms, focusing on contact center technologies and Python automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and support contact center platforms such as Amazon Connect, Avaya, and Genesys
• Build and manage IVR, call routing, ACD, and CTI integrations
• Develop automation and integrations using Python and APIs while troubleshooting call quality and production issues

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in contact center technologies
• Strong background in IVR, call flows, and telephony systems
• 3+ years of Python development experience
• Knowledge of SIP, VoIP, and PSTN
• Hands-on experience with AWS or cloud platforms
