Senior Test Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Test Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and executing testing plans, analyzing test data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality assurance in software development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute thorough test plans and test cases while analyzing test and operational problems to report defects
• Communicate weekly with management regarding testing status and potential issues, while coordinating with customers to resolve requests
• Participate in project work group meetings and maintain business and technical knowledge through ongoing training and research

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 5 years of experience in functional analysis and testing within the software development life cycle
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test scenarios from scratch
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience with defect tracking and test management tools
• Familiarity with at least 2 relational database management systems (e.g., DB2, Oracle, SQL)
