Senior Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Test Automation Engineer will create and maintain test scripts, collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure software quality, and manage testing artifacts using tools like GitHub and Jira.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with developers and functional analysts to create and manage test plans and scripts in accordance with VA-mandated standards
• Scripting tests using Python and other languages while ensuring high quality and reliability of software
• Lead testing events and manage defect tracking and reporting in the Application Life Cycle Management tool Jira

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline with ten years of experience in manual and automated testing
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with QA automation tools like Selenium and JMeter
• Experience working in a SAFe/Agile environment and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
