Senior Test Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Test Automation Engineer will develop and maintain automated test scripts, execute manual and automated test cases, and collaborate with an engineering team to enhance test solutions for the Research Data Atlas program.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Playwright
- Execute manual test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Collaborate with software developers to refine test strategies and document test plans effectively
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software or test automation development, including at least 1 year of technical experience
- Knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems
- Experience with GCP or other cloud environments
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C, or C++
- Familiarity with scripting languages, including VB Script, Perl, Python, or TCL
