Senior Test Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support a dynamic engineering team, the full-time Senior Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for manual, automation, and performance testing, including creating a Test Automation Framework and automation test scripts for API and UI levels, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain end-to-end test suites using Selenium/Playwright, ensuring they remain functional as the product evolves
- Write and execute API-level tests for GraphQL, perform load and performance checks, and verify releases in the cloud environment
- Document test plans, coverage maps, and clear bug reports while mentoring other test engineers
Required qualifications
- 5 to 6 years of experience in software testing, with at least 4 years in building test automation frameworks
- Strong proficiency in browser automation using Selenium/Playwright and comfortable writing tests in TypeScript or JavaScript
- Experience testing GraphQL or REST APIs, including authentication and error handling
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines or Jenkins
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
