Senior Test Engineer

Job Summary

To support federal application sustainment, the remote contracted Senior Test Engineer will focus on IV&V support, smoke and regression testing, and release validation while documenting test results and coordinating with developers.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute smoke test scripts and reports for each release change package, patch, or configuration change
• Conduct regression testing and user acceptance support, ensuring traceability to user stories
• Coordinate defect triage and track severity 1/2 defects while supporting release validation efforts

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of ten years of experience in software testing, IV&V, QA, or test engineering on production applications
• Experience with test script creation, execution of smoke/regression/functional tests, and documentation of test results
• Familiarity with testing for Entellitrak/Tyler, Java/JEE case management, and Health IT systems
• Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, SAFe/Agile, Security+, SQL, or test automation certification are preferred
• Experience with automated test tools and ServiceNow ticket validation is advantageous
