Senior Test Engineer
Job Summary
To support the government in enhancing business processes, the full-time remote Senior Test Engineer will develop functional testing scenarios, manage project deadlines, and execute test cases while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute functional testing scenarios and detailed test cases
- Manage project timelines and coordinate testing efforts while logging and validating defects
- Serve as a subject matter expert in functional testing, assisting other engineers and participating in project status meetings
Required qualifications
- 5 years of IT industry experience
- Experience in Agile methodology and test automation, including automated test script development
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools such as IBM Rational Suite
- Experience in all phases of software testing, including functional and regression testing
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
